Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil (Tamil: நல்லூர் கந்தசுவாமி கோவில்) is a significant Hindu temple, located in Nallur, Northern Province, Sri Lanka. This temple stood strong through the civil war and provided shelter for many who were displaced. A beautiful highlight about this temple is the fact that their pooja tickets costs 1 rupee and the organization refuses to take anything more. Its a little reminder that in God's eyes, we are all equal and our financial status should not be used to differentiate one another.
